Iselin
Iselin Eie Bowen
Iselin trained with Frédéric Jahn and Patricia Ruanne, in Guadeloupe. She has also trained and performed with Ballet Laura Alonso, Cuba, and at London Studio Centre, where she took part in the Images of Dance tour, dancing in Othello, Pineapple Poll and Game Over. Her roles with IBW include Juliet, Titania Lady Capulet and Lily Smalls. This is Iselin’s second year with IBW.
Oliver
Oliver Eastwood
Oliver was taught by Nicky and Niall McMahon in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. He began his career with the Jean Ann Ryan Company in Florida before joined IBW in 2007. His roles with IBW include Franz and Dr Coppelius in Coppelia, Lleu in The Bride of Flowers, Romeo, Tybalt, Oberon and Demetrius.
Daisuke
Daisuke Muira
Daisuke left Japan at 16 to undertake his GCSE’s in the UK. He trained at Ballet West and Kate Simmons Dance. Since graduating in 2006, Daisuke has been working at The Serbian National Ballet. Daisuke joined IBW in September 2008, dancing the role of ‘Mercutio’ in “Romeo & Juliet” and he dances the roles of Lysander and Puck. Daisuke is thankful for his wife’s support.
Olga
Olga Petiteau
Olga trained at the Academie Americaine de Danse de Paris in France, where she danced the role of Cinderella at the Palais des Congres. In 2008 Olga received a scholarship to attend Princeton Ballet School, USA, where she performed the role of ‘Clara’ in The Nutcracker. This is Olga’s first tour with Independent Ballet Wales and she dances the roles of Hermia and Peaseblossum.
Emily
Emily Pimm
Emily trained at the Susan Robinson School of Ballet and the Rambert School. Since graduation she has been an apprentice with Cathy Marston on The Tempest at ROH2 and has toured the UK and Switzerland with Vienna Festival Ballet performing in Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Giselle, La Sylphide, Rhapsody in Blue and The Nutcracker. Emily joined IBW in 2007 and has danced the roles of Swanilda, Juliet, Titania and Hermia.
Lauren
Lauren Poulton
Lauren graduated from the Central School of Ballet in 2005 with a BA (hons) degree in Professional Dance and Performance. Since graduating she has toured the UK with Christopher Hampson’s Johann Strauss Gala and Anya Ison Wallace Dance Company. Other credits include Firebird- Dance Theatre of Harlem, Giselle-Cuban National Ballet, Demise-Inspired Pictures, Mozartiana- Birmingham Royal Ballet. Lauren joined IBW in 2007 and her roles include Juliet, Lady Capulet, Blodeuwedd, Hermia, Helena and Polly Garter.
Richard
Richard Read
Richard graduated from the Central School of Ballet in 2005 with a BA (hons) degree in Professional Dance and Performance. He joined Vienna Festival Ballet’s UK tour from 2005-2006, performing in The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, La Sylphide and Rhapsody in Blue. Richard has also worked with Ballet-O-Mania for their production of Stop, Look and Listen. Richard joined IBW in 2008 and his roles include Romeo, Tybalt, Oberon and Demetrius.
Mandev
Mandev Sokhi
Mandev trained at Kate Simmons Dance Ltd in Warrington, Cheshire, and holds the Enrico Cecchetti Diploma. After graduating in 2007 he has performed in The Nutcracker with the National Ballet Company in America and with Flamenco company, Simpatico Flamenco, under the alias El Niño Fuego. Mandev joined IBW last year and his roles include Mercutio, Friar, Puck and Lysander.
