RIVERFRONT SUMMER DANCE 08 COURSES21st - 25th JULYCourse 1 - Week 1 Rollover (ages 8 - 10)Monday to Friday 12 - 2pm. Performance in Studio Theatre, Friday 25th at 2pm Daily warm up and dance class followed by the chance to create your own dance with the dancers of Independent Ballet Wales in the studio theatre. The cost of this week is £20.
Course 2 - Week 1 Main Studio (All levels age 11 - 14) Monday to Friday 11am - 4pm. Performance in Studio Theatre, Friday 25th at 2pm This week is designed to suit beginners & experienced dancers between 11 and 14 years old. Classes in Street, Ballet, Tap, and Salsa. You will also have the opportunity to create your own piece of choreography with the dancers of Independent Ballet Wales. The cost of this week is £50.
Break Dancing Course - Week 1 (all ages) Monday to Friday 2 - 4pm. Performance in Studio Theatre, Friday 25th at 2pm This course is for any standard - from beginners to advanced - and gives the opportunity to learn and improve on break-dancing skills, as well as street dance. You will also be able to create your own dance to show at the performance on the Friday. The cost of this course is £20
28th JULY - 2nd AUGUST Course 3 - Week 2 Main Studio (ages 14- 21) Monday to Saturday 11am - 4pm. Performance in Main Theatre, Saturday 2nd at 2pm Classes in Street, Ballet, Contemporary, Tap and Salsa. You will also have the opportunity to create your own piece of choreography with the dancers of Independent Ballet Wales. The cost of this week is £50.
Course 4 - Ballet Summer School (age 13 and upwards) Monday to Saturday 9:15am -3pm. Performance in Main Theatre, Saturday 2nd at 2pm Daily class in the morning, followed by classes in pointe, pas de deux, repertoire, pilates and also the opportunity to create a piece of their own choreography. The minimum standard for this ballet summer school is grade 6 and upwards with good pointe work a necessity. The cost for this ballet summer school is £80. APPLICATION FORM |
