Since 1986 Ballet Cymru has presented a high standard of classical ballet in an unpretentious and original way. The company regularly asks venues to keep their ticket prices to a minimum and we go out of our way to ensure that we remain accessible to all types of people through our workshops and classes.

Each year the company tour to around 50 venues throughout the UK, with 10 dancers and 2 technicians, presenting innovative, challenging and original productions. For people who demand Swan Lake there are many small companies around, however, Ballet Cymru believes in creating works of art that are based around ideas and not financial goals.

We are extremely proud of our record in training and encouraging young dancers, with ex-members now dancing in companies across the World including English National Ballet, Dutch Ballet and The Scottish Ballet.

Every year many dance and ballet companies go out of business and many more are formed. Ballet Cymru has grown, remaining true to its aims and ideals, for 24 years.
