Amy trained in Australia, gaining her Solo Seal certificate and a “Diploma in Dance”. Since joining IBW in 1996 she has danced many roles with the company and become Ballet Mistress in 2001. In 2009 she won the Jane Attenborough Dance in Education fellowship award and now undertakes much of the company’s education programme.
Amy regularly teaches throughout the UK and internationally and has just completed a BA in English and Creative Arts. She has published articles for Dance Europe and Dance Australia as well as a play written in 2009. Amy has recieved grants from The Arts Council of Wales which has contributed towards her professional development and choreography such as “This Night” in 2007 and “Stranger” in 2008.
